The second edition of The Lord of the Hallows has just been published in e-book format with a new subtitle, Christian Symbolism and Themes in Tolkien, Lewis, and Rowling. It’s available at this link:

The book is a work of literary criticism and analysis that examines the religious symbolism in The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and in the Harry Potter series. I did a great deal of research on the three authors‘ Christian beliefs and how those beliefs influenced their writing. I also studied Biblical symbolism, the secret symbols used by the early Christians, and the symbolism used in Medieval Christian art and literature, including Medieval bestiaries, the famous unicorn tapestries, and in particular, the Arthurian legends about the quest for the Hallows of the Holy Grail.

The original trade paperback edition is out of print, but the reviews have been mostly positive since 2009, with 4.7 out of 5 stars!

Reading and writing books are my favorite pastimes besides playing and teaching music. Please share this blog post with any Lord of the Rings, Narnia, or Harry Potter fans you know who might be interested in reading my book. Thanks!
